| About the STARLAB Workshop Honorarium Program |
Many teachers have discovered the wonders of the universe along with their students in a STARLAB Portable Planetarium. These educators know that STARLAB’s versatility makes it a fascinating tool for teaching astronomy, earth science, mythology, biology, multicultural studies, and more at every level. They also know the interest and excitement it brings to their students.
We, at Learning Technologies, are constantly striving to further expand the universe by making STARLAB known and available to more teachers and students. Enthusiastic users of the STARLAB teachers are one of the best resources we have to accomplish this goal, by teaching other educators through workshops and similar programs. To reward teachers who help us spread the word, LTI has devised the STARLAB Honorarium Program.
This program is designed to help defray some of the costs of travel and of attending conventions. It is our way of saying thank you for helping to convey the concepts and excitement of science by using a STARLAB Portable Planetarium.
