Informal Science Education Fellowship Program Opportunity . . .

The Center for Advancement for Informal Science Education has a new fellowship program. We are seeking applicants from all sectors of informal science education who show potential to propose and lead NSF ISE grants. In particular, we are searching for candidates from underrepresented groups and geographic regions in the United States. Please help us identify potential fellows and spread the word. Application deadline is May 12.

The STARLAB Honorarium Program.

We are constantly striving to further expand the universe by making STARLAB known and available to more teachers and students. Enthusiastic users of the STARLAB — teachers — are one of the best resources we have to accomplish this goal, by teaching other educators through workshops and similar programs. To reward teachers who help us spread the word, LTI has devised the STARLAB Honorarium Program.

This program is designed to help defray some of the costs of travel and of attending conventions. It is our way of saying thank you for helping to convey the concepts and excitement of science by using a STARLAB portable planetarium. Click to learn more about the program and how to apply.
